Iain Dale has gotten all bent out of shape about allegations raised by Guido about the sexual orientation of our Foreign Secretary.

All I have to say is that Iain Dale needs to grow up and become aware of the real issue that is getting overlooked in the gay/not-gay story.

The real issue - something that even Guido seems to have forgotten in the hype - is that Hague hired a total novice to a SpAd role on taxpayer money passing over better candidates because he may or may not be his secret lover. The Conservatives promised to end this sort of abuse of the public purse. I couldn't care less if every MP has a secret fetish/preference/habit that they like to indulge in as long as they use their own money to fund it.

I actually like Hague, I think that he is one of the best speakers at the dispatch box in the last century but this sort of abuse of taxpayer money is abhorrent and really tarnishes my view of him.
