Let me elaborate

A couple of minutes ago I posted this on twitter.

 What I'd like to elaborate on is the fact that a lack of a reliable roadside test to identify drug use in drivers has always been one of the main counter arguments to liberalising drug laws.

With this new little gadget surely that reason has been overcome and the gap between the 'dangers of drugs' versus the 'dangers of alcohol' is narrowed once more.

From my perspective the government now has two real options*; declare alcohol illegal (which they won't because its been tried before and it didn't work) or make drugs legal.

 * maintaining the status quo is an option but it doesn't solve any problems therefore I am discounting it.
